Join Sister Creek Hives in our private teaching apiary for a hands-on tour inside an active honey bee hive. This sensory experience will delight all levels of bee enthusiasts and take participants on a journey through a living honey bee colony. Learn the roles of each bee within a colony from the “bee nursery” to the field foragers. Our guest will have an opportunity to see the queen bee and learn some basic beekeeping practices that help Sister Creek Hives maintain healthy honey bee colonies without the use of chemical treatments.

Tours are dependent on weather. We will contact you 24-48 hours in advance if a tour needs to be rescheduled due to weather.
